What Are Good Props To Bring For Senior Portraits?

I am going to bring my guitar because I have been playing for a good while and it is a big part of me, but I don’t know what else to bring. I like to paint and I am a performer but paintbrushes and microphones just sound cheesy. Any ideas?

I work at a portrait studio and we just did a session with a senior where she brought in a blank canvas and all of her paints and she just had fun with it. She wore her painting clothes and got paint on herself… it was really cool.

Just stick with the guitar. No need to try to document your entire life in your senior photo. Here is a shot with a guitar I did for a senior, though it is probable a little more “edgy” than you would want, but any good photographer will be able to do plenty for you with just the guitar.http://www.pbase.com/s_parrott/image/900…

Check with your school first, many have policies banning props in senior photos.

What about a painting that you have done?
You could use it in the background in the picture where you are playing guitar!

Probably just the guitar to be honest.
