i’ve seen a few pictures of other peoples’ senior portraits and it seems like they take a lot of different poses.

im getting mine tomorrow. and you fill out how much time you want and how many different poses you would like. (more time+poses=more money). theres different packages you choose from and stuff. i just got the silver which is like 3 outfits and a half hour long.

It depends on how ready you are when you get to the appointment.
The photographer is trained to apply make-up and fix the students hair, cover blemishes and all of that… So if you’ve done that before you get there, it won’t take more than 45 minutes to an hour.
Practicing different poses the photog will have you do will help you feel more at ease too. When we’re nervous, and who isn’t when their pic is taken to last a lifetime, our mouths get dry. Put a little, (and I mean just a little) Vasoline on your teeth. Then your lips won’t stick to them when you go for the smile shots!
You also have a choice in what your finished chosen pic will look like. Tell the photog you look better at this angel, smiling or not smiling…
Good luck and have fun with it.

Mine took around 45 minutes to an hour. Different places vary due to how soon you can start, how long it takes to change your outfits, where the photos are taken, and etc.
