High School Senior Portraits: What Makeup? Tips & Tricks?

Posted on | February 9, 2010 | 1 Comment

I will be taking my high school senior portrait soon at a local studio.
I have fairly light complexion (NW20 in MAC, fairly light in Bare Minerals)
My eyes are hazel and I have medium brown hair.
So, please help me choose the perfect look.

Since it’s for school stick with nudes and maybe add a bit of color on the bottom lash line.
First apply a skin tone color all over the lid.
Then apply a medium brown such as era or cork from MAC.
In the tear duct take a white liner or eyeshadow and use a liner brush to apply. (if your using the eyeshadow) This will brighten up your eyes. Also put it under your brow.
(don’t forget to blend all of this out as you go along)
Apply a darker brown in the outer corner and blend. This will add depth to your eye.
Line your upper lash line with a black and waterline with skin tone liner if you can find one.
    Hope this helps.
    Curl and mascara!
