For A Good Time, You’ll Want This Digital Camera

Posted on | July 5, 2009 | No Comments

I almost always see buyers pick a digital camera which offers much more than they need. Before you buy a camera, you need to know exactly what you need. What is the camera going to be used for? What type of photography are you going to use the camera for? Indoors, outdoors, sports? Will you be taking photos in light conditions, dark conditions? Are you going to use an automatic feature, or do you want to go manual like a pro? Are you an experienced user? What are the main features you want in the camera?

All auto modes work great, but you can override most settings manually and get even better results. With an ISO setting around 400 there is considerable noise, but nowhere close to what I was getting on my old SLR film camera. I was able to reduce it considerably with Photoshop and got some surprisingly good indoor pictures.

Lindsay is the most mature one, and she’s looking for something more advanced. She already had other digital cameras before, both subcompacts and compacts. She just saw some photos taken by professionals and she wants to learn more about photography.

Lastly, it is important to realize that the price given for the camera may not be the final price you pay. Almost all cameras require additional accessories, some more than ot hers. Some of these extras may include a camera case, memory cards, batteries, lenses (for DSLR’s), filters, tripods, reflectors, and so on. Now, as you can probably tell, these are not ALL essential parts, but are still important to many people. This canon powershot sd990is and this good pentax slr camera for beginners should help with top camera rating guide.

Britney is first. In this scenario, Britney doesn’t have a lot of money, so she wants to spend less than $150. She will use the camera to take photos of friends, family or pets. It will be her first digital camera, so she doesn’t know much about them and she also doesn’t want to read too many reviews and technical specifications. She wants to carry the digital camera in her pocket or in a purse, so it needs to be small. She will use the photos and upload them to her PC, to her MySpace and Facebook accounts and to the iPod Touch. It’s important that the camera is easy to use.

Which digital camera is best will depend on what you need it for, what you plan to do with it and what functions you need. Do you need a professional camera such as a SLR or a compact digital camera? The camera you choose should be something that you feel comfortable with and is easy for you to hold.

After you have all the information you need, you can compare and see which camera would work for you. Look at the focus modes, shooting modes and the zoom abilities. Check each cameras top end price and the low-end price. May sure the camera has the necessary accessories included.

The camera does have some features that you would not use with this type of camera. The price however, is affordable under one hundred and fifty dollars.
